I had my car tuned with an Ecutek and ran the boost with an AVC-R. The avc-r seems to be a much more superior control for boost and allows for faster spool. I'm very happy with it. Its also very easy to switch from low to high boost on the fly. It also seems to learn pretty fast and is very flexible in functionality.

I haven't tried the Perrin, but the APEX'i is better than the blitz and probably the HKS. The AVCR is great, can't go wrong with it.
