Hey all,
I have a 2004 2.0L WRX at Cobb stage2. The usual catless UP, turboback, and AP stage2 93octane. Now im really interested in becoming an alcoholic this coming spring/summer and im leaning towards the SMC kit. The trouble arises with finding someone to protune my car with alky setup. I live in the tri-state area, and Im wondering if there are any local shops in PA/NJ/NY/CT/DE/MD who have experience and can protune the AP for an alky map. XXtuning comes to mind, i know Precision in Brick does road Protunes now.... but with alcohol inj? any help is appreciated! Thanks, ~Chris

XXtuning will do it.. A guy I met before went to them and 302 WHP on a VF-22 at like 17 psi.. They can tune. my boy will be getting rid of his utec on his sti to get AP and alky and Tony at XX said it would be no problem to tune.

We've had Riftswrx fly in 4 times now to Protune in MD. He's done a few alky setups with it. It's been at Extreme Motorpsorts in MD. I'll need to get him back in a few months to tune my alky setup actually.

Hmm kinda off topic but do you guys think that alky is a good idea with just a simple Stage 2, exhaust and EM. Stock TMIC and so forth

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
There is already a thread I started on this topic some time ago. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=891446 Short answer is that it is worthwhile because I'm doing it. As are lots of others. |
