Default Importind an STI

I've been researching what it takes to import an STI into Canada from the states. It sounds fairly easy, but the only scary thing is buying one without seeing it on ebay. Has anyone bought one this way or imorted one??

Thanks

riv.ca - the process seems really easy. The are no duties on the LGT, or shouldn't be as it is made in Indiana. There are duties on the STi as it is made mostly in Japan.

Or at least, that's what my research has shown me.

Seems that even with the 6.5% duty on the STi there is a big savings to be had buying down south.

How far is it from you? I wouldn't buy a used car off ebay unless it was inspected. If you can't fly out there to even just see it, try to have an independent company inspect the car for you and give you a report. I know the BCAA offers that service and only costs $100 for members. Perhaps the American Automobile Association can offer some names to you.
