That looks sick bro! I'm really liking the limited black dash. However I could never get myself to spend the money to get all that.

Did you use a DIY thread on how to change the hvac and door backlights? if so, which one?

I've seen some of the lighting. I like it! If I could take the lighting from the '09 Forrester I would be a happy camper.

B4 is one of the wires on one of the green harness'. look back and find the diagram and you'll see. fairly simple

Hi all,

I'm about to put a JDM Ver9 240km/h STi cluster into my Australian Spec WRX and was just wondering what to expect with the speedo after the mod.

Can anyone here comment having swapped a ver9 cluster into a 2006-2007 WRX?

I don't mind if your cluster is in MPH. Just after a rough indication specific to the ver9 cluster and 2006-2007 wrx.

Thanks!

It's not a straight swap over in an 05 WRX

It will work as good as the period button on your computer does.

I just swapped in a 07 STi cluster into my 07 2.5i impreza,

1. Buzzer comes on and stays on, cut wire C9 to fix this.
2. Rear Diff Light Comes on
3. Cruise Control is INOP
4. Temp Guage DOES work.
5. MPH is off by 2-3MPH (verified with scangauge2)
6. Shift light/buzzer works
7. Dimmer switch is INOP (my cluster was already at full brightness)

Had to trim the bottom plastic rails on my left side (connector A) green connector plug to get it to fit, just use some dikes, took me literally 10 seconds.

Everything else works great.

Sorry for bumping back up from the dead but....

did anyone have any issues with the immobilizer system when doing the swap?
meaning did anyone have to re-program their keys? i ask because when i swapped the cluster on my 08 impreza with one from a 08 wrx, i had to get the keys reprogrammed at the dealer for the car to start.
now i have an 07wrx, and was thinking about doing this with either an 06/07 cluster, but worried about the immobilizer not starting my car...after i have modified the wires.
