Thumbs up Kartboy rear endlinks installed on 05 STi:

Just wanted to review the Kartboy rear endlinks for the 05 sti. I installed these endlinks about 2 weeks ago and they are great. The install is very simple and these endlinks are quality. I got the pair from Turn in Concepts for $100. I also have Whiteline adjustable sways in the rear.

After initially installing them I found that there was a "clunk" that I could feel coming from the left rear side. I re-torqued all the nuts to 36 lbs, but the thump was still there when I came to a stop. I emailed Tom and he said that some of the initial endlinks that were sent out didn't get grease between the rubber bushing and the metal sleeve. So he recommended that I push out the metal sleeve and put some lube on there. I followed his recommendation and now it is quiet and thump free

Install was super easy. I followed the install directions on scoobymods written by peaty. http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6181
I needed a 16mm box wrench for the outside bolt and a 17mm deep socket for the inner nut. Install took me 20 minutes with hand tools. If you have air tools it would take you probably 5 minutes.

These endlinks are great! They are a little longer than the stock endlinks, which will prevent the swaybar from flipping. And I don't have to every worry about a bent/broken endlink.

I can't view the pics you posted, but I assume they are the new pillowball endlinks? If so, what did you use for grease? I might need to grease my endlinks since they are clunking like a mo-fo.

Conker69 do you get clunking with the endlinks and the Cobb rear sway?
Just curious I got the front/rear going on soon and I will be lowered on Prodrives.

Thanks,
