Default Got a pic of my wife's Forester finally

I finally got my car reader to work on my PC, so here is a pic I took a while ago of my wife's 2k1 S premium.

Pretty stock for now, but I have some ideas.

Damn I love the 2001 Foresters, especially with the rear spoiler

I hope they don't change it too much for 2002

Foresters are the best looking SUV bar none!

Question Jacked up?

Why does it look so jacked up at the back? Doesn't it have the self levelling suspension?
You need to get the wheel arches painted white too! I had black ones on my old car too, but I've seen silver coloured ones on a new S-Turbo. Might be worth investigating?

PS. Mine were held on with sticky pads and kept falling off until I used sikaflex rubber mastic to hold them on, did yours do that?

I don't believe they have self leveling suspension here in the US, but I may be wrong.

I don't like the black wheel arches. I am either going to just remove them, or remove them and paint them. I should of had the dealer do it before I took delivery, but I didn;t think they would bother me as much as they do.

Aaron's right, we don't get the self-leveling suspension (or headlamp washers) in the US.

The unpainted wheel arches look nice on the L models with their unpainted lower cladding, but they do need to be painted on the S to look integrated.

I was in Phoenix for the first time in May on business. Worked hard, played hard, had a nice drive up to the north and around (in an underpowered rental Galant). Couldn't figure out where everybody lived outside of upscale Scottsdale.
