Unhappy Question about upgrading to STi Intercooler

Would it really be worth it to upgrade to a STi intercooler on a 2002 stage 2 WRX? Would i really see any gains over stock, or would it just keep heatsoak down a little?

it's only slightly bigger.... no real benefit over the wrx i/c for your set up

buy aftermarket, get something BIGGER if you want to cool things down significantly.... on a bigger turbo

Not really worth it, even if you tune for it IMHO it's not worth the price unless you get one on the cheap for a few hundred bucks.

Without a tune, not really going to help. Plus, it doesn't drop right in and your stock shroud won't fit it. If anything, I would look for a JDM STi ver 7. Those are bigger and bolt right up with no modification. But still, without a tune you are probably better off stock.

If it's $200 (or less, heh) give it a shot. Anything higher, just save up for a bigger piece.
