Question Subaruadventures.com

Does anyone know what happened to subaruadventures.com? It seems to have disappeared.
It had some cool pix of people drifting their legacy's around in the snow and stuff.

I think they turned into some other site that started selling Outback gear.

I fondly remember their message board, it was one of the first Subaru boards i ever frequented.

Question Good Question

yeah whatever happened to those guys? They were one of the first Subaru sites I checked out back when I started to get into cars. Then it was on to Checkpoint stage two and then a little site called impreza-rs.com. hehe wink wink. Subaru Adventures had some great pics, I especially remember some Subies driving down a river and some dude that had lifted his Outback and put on some mudders. That was hella cool looking. If they relocated does the website have an archive of pictures?

I think they became challengerdeep.com; not sure about the pictures. I've a few similar on my web site http://www.subaru-outback.net

I remember that site too, that and rich's site really helped influence my purchase of an outback.

Perhaps my site might do the same!

remarcable, rrubel:

Thanks for the replies fellas.

rrubel- So the water has called you too, eh? I took my Legacy across a small stream crossing about a week ago. Just prayed I didn't ingest water into the car or engine. hehe

remarcable- I had fun checking out your power line expeditions, especially liked the adjoining captions for the photos. Looks like lots of fun out there.

The water has definitely called me, though none of the pix on my site are actually of me (nobody around to take pictures :-(. Actually, my biggest 'water adventure' was driving some flooded streets in Baltimore about a year ago, following some smaller SUVs in a travel lane that nobody else could drive in. Had water over the door sills at one point (nothing leaked in) and the engine coughed once or twice, but no ill effects.

remarcable - Those pics are GREAT!!! I wish we had places like that around here in WA. I would've loved to go on trail with ya. Seems like you had some fun.

I sure would like an outback for my Fly fishing trips. My GT really can't take that kind of beating.

Thumbs up Thanks Guys!

Those were just the sort of things I was looking for, albeit not the originals. I've got a pic of my old forester in the snow in Andorra I'll have to scan in sometime.
