avcs on a usdm wrx motor

hey i got a quick question if a person is to obtain a avcs wiring kit and a jdm ecu and the extra oil lines and various other hardware would avcs work on the motor?

you might need the cams too, or maybe even the whole heads

AVCS hardware on the heads are specific to AVCS equipped head. You can't just add it into a non-AVCS head.

But you can add a avcs head to your existing block

so you get the head then wire up the avcs system as well as adding the oil lines and the jdm ecu?

the heads have the whole assembly ..
you need
heads+wireing+ecu

You will also need belt covers from an AVCS motor. The right-hand non-AVCS belt cover will not clear the AVCS cam gear.
