Rally Subaru in Edmonton has Cobb RSBs. Give the parts counter a call at (780)989-0700 and ask for Jeremy.

Rally sells the Cobb and the Perrin.

Cobb = $240.50 ($175.50 for end links)
Perrin = $249.99 ($174.99 for end links)

I would recommend the end links, looking at the weak plastic stocker bits of crap.

I got the Cobb cuz it's tubular, looks great and I trust Cobb's equipment.

I think the Perrin is solid.

Here's some bumf on the Cobb tubular design.

Perrin is indeed solid and a well built tube is always stronger (in certain ways) than a solid pipe.

Rally's actually moved out of Perrin parts but still has the Cobb.

I WAS hoping for something previously enjoyed... I have access to Suspension techniques products through work..

What are the advantages to the tube bar vs solid?

Have a read on the link I posted above, it describes some advantages. Weight reduction is one that 'springs' to mind.

Cool

Just a semi-jack, here...

..what kind of deal can you get on the ST r-asb?

Also, the consensus seems to be that the OE endlinks are okay up to 22mm (with no insane driving) but aftermarkets are better for bars > 22mm.

Thoughts? Experience?

I'm asking because I'm trying to find one too, not just to jack the thread into the tech field!

I think you'd regret not getting decent endlinks for $100/pair. Its the same amount of work to swap out the endlinks and swaybar as it is to swap the swaybar.

Besides, the front OEs are tiny and the rear ones are plastic on the WRX (STis have the same tiny ones front and rear).

I'd be interested in your old bar when you get the new one... depending on shipping to L7G 2A9.

Thanks!
