I noticed some people compared numbers on what their max whp was stock vs someone elses whp with stage 1. i was just wondering if anyone can provide a sheet which compared the stock 06 wrx vs stg1 06 wrx on the same sheet, or at least two sheets of the exact same car.... i searched but only found an overwhelming amount of stg2 sheets... i guess people dont bother dynoing until they put a good amount of upgrades in

how about Cobb's numbers themself?
02-05 2.0l wrx stage 1 06 2.5l wrx stage 1 according to them, stage 1 06 wrx makes the same hp as a stock 06 and a stage 1 02-05. But the tq is much higher |

I just put my 05 WRX on the dyno at Mach V in Sterling, VA yesterday afternoon.
With a K&N filter and Cobb Stage 1, pump 93 octane (Shell in Herndon) I got : 188 hp and 188 torque This is for three pulls on the dyno with the car running very rich. I'll try to get the graphs up this evening ... nevermind, just realized you're looking for 06 info. Last edited by 05GrayWRX; 03-26-2006 at 01:03 PM. |

I may be bringing this back from the dead...but i just had my 06 dynoed before and after a stg 1 flash. This is on a Mustang Dyno, and my only mod is a SSAC TMIC.
Baseline: 216 whp 243 wtq Stg 1: 211 whp 252 wtq Although I lost hp the car feels much more sorted with the bump in tq, plus my AFRs are much safer. The AFRs started out at 15.2 before finally dropping off to 11.4 on the stock ecu. |
