Default stage 2 question

Here is what i did from stock:

1) went to stage 1
2) installed a helix dp
3) flashed to stage 2 while stage 1 was still on the ecu

that is fine? no need to reset ecu or anything right?

Also, is can't i just check which stage my ecu is on without plugging it into the car? (under the steering wheel) because when i plugged the adaptor into the wall and picked "view current stage" it showed stage 2

You shouldn't need to reset the ECU, it pretty much happens during the base map reflashing process..

And yes, I believe the show current map option should confirm what base mapping you are running.

Did you flash a real-time map, or a new base map?

If you only did the real-time map, the CEL deletes will not be there.. Only for the base maps.

so you went to stg 2 with only a downpipe? I read that you needed a cat back as well. Also I am about to go to stg 2 and in the instructions for the file it says it is strongly recommended you make it your base map.

with a catback you will get a little more power, but all you "need" is a downpipe
