Default Ignighter Question

I have come to a stump in the road...
nippon motors faild to send us the ignighter with the stuff they sent us. this is bad because a 94 WRX has coil on plug ignition, and an american ignighter doesnt have enough wires to feed all of them, I think that USDM STi's are also coil on plug, does anyone know if a STi ignighter will work with the older WRX set up. or where I can find one that will work.

Thanx a lot guys.

Go with a SVx Ignitor, It worked for me, you just leave the last two socket unplugged, or use 2 legacy/impreza ignitors that way you will have 4 channels. PM me if you have any other questions, I went thru this battle, and found out how to make it work

I did the same thing as snowjob with the SVX ignitor. You cannot use a modern WRX/STi ignitor because there isn't one. The ignitor is built into the coils on the new cars...

x 3 on the SVX ignitor - just make sure you get the newest ones you can find. They do get old and die.
