Default need your opinion

ok so before anyone tells me to research this before posting....I DID..a little lol..i read the unabomers forum on it and it was great. but i am still unsure of what to do.

basicly i have a 2002 wrx with tbe. final product i want a wrx that can do 270-300 whp but not push the limits of the car b/c its my daily driver. i know cobb ap stage 2 is great and ecuteck is great. but what do you guys think i should get? i want to get ecu upgrade soon so i can have a better driving wrx. cobb website has some nice avg numbers showing for stage 2 are they accurate?....then i want to save up for tmic or fmic (prob tmic b/c i like the stock look better and shorter pipes), turbo (not sure what kind maybe vf39 or vf34 idk yet diff story), sti pinks, fuel pump and re-tune by a shop or get a map online.

could i get a cobb ap stage 2 for now when i get the other stuff get the street tuner..and tune it myself. but im not an expert at this stuff...yet! lol

seeing how u guys have done these upgrades already and know whats good........what do u think i should do? thanks for the help

Basicly which do u think would be better for what i want...ecuteck or AP?

Best bang for the buck imho which will get you in the high 200's whp with a boat load of torque is a VF39, pink injectors and Walbro pump. You can easily find this stuff used on the for sale forum ~ $700. Sky's the limit if you want to buy a new turbo.

Then of course you need EM which will also run you that much money. Get a custom reflash, either ECUtek or Cobb and you're away to the races. Steer away from shelf maps if you want to maximize power and safety.

Later on you can add a TMIC if you want a little extra.

considering your in Tampa area, i wouldnt go with Cobb, no one in your area does Cobb maps. but on the same note, there arent many Ecutek tuners either in C.FL. I had to get Scott Seigal to come down from atlanta. But there alot more dyno days with Ecutek tuners then Cobb, so i suggest going that route. and by doing so, id also say dont get the accessport, youll only end up getting rid of it like i did (even though i only lost $50).

if you dont already, check tamparacing.com in the subaru section. I see some dyno days in there sometimes. Or just the regional section of NASIOC.
