Default Removing AC

this has to be a thread on the site..i'm having a Heck of a time trying to find it. Anyone know how to remove the AC Completely?

yeah, just find all the AC stuff (condensor, compressor, evap, etc) and unbolt it.

You'll need to discharge it first (either stick a crewdriver in the "L" hole or take it to a shop that will be more environmentally friendly). I would say once that's done disconnect the lines at the compressor. The compressor is pretty easy to take off, you just need to loosen the belt and then unbolt it. The condenser is in front of your radiator. Just mess around in the unil you can get to its bolts (I don't remember if you have to take the radiator off, but that would probably make it easier). Unbolt the metal cylinder from the strut tower area, and unplug it from the harness. There are two lines headed for the firewall; find where they connect and disconnect them. Then you have to get under your dash (actually you might have to take off the dash to get to it). In the glove compartment area theres some mysterious black or possibly white boxes under there. The one in the middle of the dash is the heater--leave that one. The ones to the right (or to the left if it's RHD) are A/C components (where the lines at the firewall went). Unbolt those and you're done.

im pretty sure you do have to take the radiator off to get the condensor out!!
