Question question about header, up + downpipe wrap

ok, i swapped in the vf34 and since i was already taking off the downpipe i decided to wrapped the headers, uppipe and downpipe with fiberglass wrap that i baught. After starting the car and running it for 15 or so min there is smoke comming from the left side of the motor - not oil, or coolant but it smells like it would be the heat wrap. The car is not tuned yet, but at idle it wouldn't matter that much. I have heard that new gaskets might do this too, but just wanted to be safe. Does anyone have any experience with using heat wrap and it burning? Or advice on what it might be? - Thanks in advance - Mike

It will go away in about a week.
If you run it hard every now and then you may smell the "burning popcorn"
