Default My Ride: ImportFest 2001

A latest graphic of my MY98 BG5 Wagon ... with lots of trimmings ... set at ImportFest 2001 at the Skydome, Toronto, Canada. My club (www.toronto-subaru-club.com) including myself were participants in the last major Canadian import show of the year ... Of course we were the only 'specialized' enthusiast club amidst a generic array of civics, intergras, civics, intergras and of course civics ... i loved every minute of it .... hehehe

I couldn't help but notice the '<i>i</i>' badge on your grill... Just seems a tad out of place...

Otherwise, very pretty.

Radio Flyer:

If you were smart, you'd deduct and reason that it could not possibly be an "I" since my car is a Legacy -- For your information, it is a JDM Legacy "double L" badge ... WHY the blud clut would I put an Impreza '"I" badge on a Legacy? Thanks.

Hey, that is one beautiful ride. What part of Toronto do you live in, because I've never seen your car on the road.

Yup it's a Legacy Lancaster style double "L" lightning bolt badge... Got one on my Fiancee's 2002 Legacy.. It's cool!

Nice ride!

Thanks for the comments guys ... I've gone through a lot of work to try pull of a JDM conversion / and everything else type of look with my wagon ... one thing for certain = I know my ride is original.

Hokeido:

I'm from Mississauga ... so the only time you might see me is when I'm at school (UofT) or when I'm downtown ...

I'll post more pics when they are ready ... which should give a better look of the entire car.

I had hoped against hope that it wasn't an '<i>i</i>' badge, but, the angle of your pic makes the badge look far more like the <i>i</i> badge than the Lancaster badge.

While I should have said something along the lines of <i>"I hope that it's not an 'i' badge..."</i>, your reply was quite a bit out of line. A simple, 'No, it's a Lancaster badge' would have sufficed.

Have a Nice Day? ...and the person who gives a hoot is where?

...all i did was post a pic of my ride -- then i started getting heck for allegedly putting an "I" badge on my Legacy. Where's the logic in that? Don't let this develop into a comedy session, since I'm already on the ground laughing hysterically on how some people are as sensitive as a school girl in here. I was not aware that there were regulations on how to post responses to peoples' comments and keeping their feelings in consideration. LOL!! RELAX boys ...

To all the peeps that have commented postively -- much kudos my bretheren ... the best is yet to come ... CHEERS.

Question WRX pedals...

Hey Legaliztik- did you do the install of the WRX pedals yourself? If so could you explain the procedure/your method of replacing the acceelerator pedal. I just got a set myself and while difficult I got the clutch and brake on securely. The parts guy told me to tap out the pin on the accelerator, but I'm a little nervous to bend the arm on it. Any hints? Thanks.

Hokeido:

St. George campus ... but rarely do I drive all the way downtown ... you'll be lucky if you see my car at campus ...

Yuji:

Yeah, the "GT" and "Bilstein" badges are on ... just need to scan the pics I took at ImportFest, so to give you guys an overall look of my car ...
