Default Front o2 sensor question

I did search for quite a while, so bear with me.

About 16 months ago my 04 sti had the ftont o2 sensor changed out due to slight surging at 0-5% throttle.

Now I am getting the same thing, only stronger surging. I am out of basic warranty, so I am looking for a way to check the front o2. The deaker sez there are 5 o2 sensors on my car, which I have never heard before.

Does the utec show o2 sensor voltage??

Thanks for help!

There are 2 O2 sensors on your car. The front one, which is in the exhaust manifold, and the rear one which is in the downpipe. You will need an OBDII scanner or Deltadash (or any OBDII software variant) to read the voltage from your sensor.

You know, that's what I thought, but the dealer was trying to snow me with this "could be any one of 5 o2 sensors". The rear one is post cat and there to check for the function of the cat, and the front provides feedback to the ecu for fueling, correct?
