Well it's been a while since I've been NASIOC. And sadly, I return bearing bad news. It looks like I'm gonna have to sell my baby
. Yup, it's true, I'm getting married, and apparently, that means I'm not allowed to have fun anymore. So I have to sell it, probably have to get a minivan. you know, one of those that looks like a dustbuster with wheels (weep). Well, it was nice getting to know you, my fellow Baja-ians. I have just one final request, how much do you think I should ask for it?Here's what it is: silver 03 baja with 45K miles. But wait, there's more: : PerfectPower chip, borla headers, Rallitek custom catback, new Bridgestones, Whiteline polyurethane power steering rack bushings, Panasonic AVIC n1 DVD player/navigations system AND... Scorpion Spring and body lift (about 3"). That's right, this is the origional lifted baja, all install done and documented by Rallitek. So unbiased opinions please, what would be a fair asking price?

I don't get it. Isn't the Baja the ultimate family car with air bags and four doors?
I mean do you plan on your lady spontaneously giving birth to triplets so that the two-seat rear won't hold everyone? Even if she was pregnant with triplets, that'd be at least nine months away if you got started now. |

I agree, and that doesn't even take into consideration the pallet-loads of diapers you will be able to stick in the back.
I suspect foul-play. I say call 911 right now! Spousal abuse takes many forms and this is definitely one of them. As for price, I bet you could sell it for around 15k, but you're not going to...right! |

Hmm, I feel obligated to protect my future wife wife here... but I won't
However, I do want to avoid people hunting me down and shooting me in the head like a wounded animal, although I appreciate the thought. To avoid the misunderstanding caused by my previous sarcastic post, here's the real situation: Of course, I am getting married, but actually she loves the Baja, and we are still not sure that we will sell it, I want to get an idea of what I could get for it, hence the post. I have accepted a position at work that is going to take me to Canada, UK, and Switzerland for about 6 months at a time, all in a row. That means 18 months out of the country, maybe more. And sadly her car is paid off already . Oh, and the company is paying for her to come with me... naughty time on foreign soil ![]() PS- good to hear from you perry, it's been a while. How's the Baja coming along? Also if any of you have questions about Baja lift or tire size, post or pm me, I have first hand experience. |
