Default How does the White hold up?

To all the White Subby guys. Hows the paint holding up? I'm a bit worried about paint stains and other things. My silver seems to stain easily.

I have an 05 Aspen White WRX. The paint is fine so far, no stains. I try to clean up anything on the paint that will stain it as quickly as possible though. It does tend to chip easily and the paint swirls easily. Other than that it's held up fine so far. I wash it at least once every two weeks and put a new coat of wax on it every 3 months.

I've always been a fan of White Cars. I've never been a fan of silver cars personally. I think silver is easier to keep clean, but white is much more forgiving on paint flaws such as swirls, scratches, etc.

I think white just looks awesome on a Subaru.

My '02 is holding up fine. I'm sure compared to freshly-painted Aspen White it would be slightly darker/yellow maybe?

Both of my impreza's were white. an 00 and now an 01. I think I looks good. I get chips but thats common with any impreza. Plus it's a respray which tends to chip more than the factory paint.

cheers

The Grey is kind of tempting since its fresh off the truck still wrapped in plastic. Virgin!! The white would have to be dealer traded for. I wonder if consistant waxing would ward off the yellowing your talkin bout. The more I look at the grey the more it seems to have a green hugh.

so how do you stain your paint? do you mean show dirt? the white will be worse for that - both look good imho.

my cars 8 years old and was poorly taken care of by its previous owners. right now it has some rust on the rear quarter panels, but what car doesnt?

Its easy to keep looking clean, but hard to keep unstained.
