like theres a choice BLUE

Question I am looking for 15" rims for autox, and snow tires. I did a search... Nothing.

Well heres the deal, I run in DSP for auto x with a 99 impreza RS. I am looking for lightweight 15" rims.

Tires I think I am going to stick with the popular Kumho r-compunds.

I have the Kumho Supra ecstas on my stock rims now, and I really like them, but I need more sticky.

So I was looking at some other L impreza's and they have a stock 15" alloy rim, and I can't seem to find them anywhere for sale. Are they light? Are they expensive? Where can I find them?

Are there any other ultra light weight 15" rims around? I am specifically looking for the lightest 15" rim I can find for autox'ing.

I am looking for next year, and the with searches I have conducted, I really haven't found anything that answeres my question.

I know about the Race Line 15" RL7's and from what Pat Olsen (I race with him at CART events) says, they are a bit heavy. So I am trying to find something a little lighter than that. Any suggestions, or ideas on where to go, please let me know.
Thanx in advance.
Steve

reasonable size & money-- 15x7 Kosei K1 Racing. I believe they're around 45-48mm offset, but I"m not positive. $139 each from the tirerack.

better size, unreasonable money & time to acquire-- Volk and Advan both make a 15x7.5 or maybe even 15x8. bend over!

Since you're running DSP you should run the widest tire and rim you can possible fit onto the car.
note: I said onto, not into the car. The rims can stick out past the fenders
Good luck

check the private classifieds for sale forum...

There are some Legacy 15" rims for sale at 170$ a set. Stock Subaru wheels are strong and light.

Good Luck,
Stefan
