cross-bars, you need them, they complete the look on the roof, and they are really easy to pop off... plus it is one more expense later...

Hatch Bar: don't bother... not on a GT... the hatch lifts up fine without it, it is *sooo* "Outback"...

I should have done leather...

I got the tweeter kit, it makes the stock deck "that much better" (by that I mean "usable")

Carpet floormats, don't get the CD deck, and dammit, GET THE WING. I still have not found the money/time to get my spoiler, but it makes our wagons look *meaty*...

BUT!!! You can't get Timberline Green Pearl, dammit. Oh, I guess you can, I did see a TGreenP 00GT wagon down in Portland, so that spoiled my "Individuality"...

I would just get the GT Limited, instead of upgrading the leather on a GT. Leather is about $1K and Limited is $1.5K over GT.

Limited gets leather, 2 side airbag, hidden antanna, UV glasses, double din stereo and of course leather seats.

Get the tweeter kit, wood piece for the window switch. You can forget about the upgrade speakers and mini woofer.

Thanks for the input. The rear bar I'm going to use to mount a CB antenna most likely, that's why I was thinking of getting it.

The only difference between the legacy GT and GTLimited are the 8 way power seats, the leather, side airbags, and a standard single cd in the stereo. Other than that the GT and GT Limited are the same. I hate airbags, and don't own a single CD, so those things aren't going to make a big differenc. Insurance will be higher on a "limited". Also you can't get the GT Wagon in a Limited trim. So I'm getting the GT Wagon w/Leather.

Question

Hey Mike -

What color is the Winestone? I am assuming a deep-red-pearl.... I checked the SOA site again and did not see it there...

I still think I need to paint my wagon GT-B Bronze in a couple of years...

A

EDIT - Looked around farther...

Of course that does not do the color justice... I have seen an OB in that color... *very* nice, and that would be *very* cool on a GT...
