RSK B4 Hood?
My wife just saw a picture of a Legacy RSK B4. Now she wants a hood scoop for her 2001 GT LTD. Yeah it won't be a functional scoop...But so what? The 98-01 RS scoops arent functional either, but they sure do look cool.
Any idea where I can get a B4 hood (or replica) that would fit a 2001? I know I can get the grille from SPO.

I am not sure but I believe that STi and for sure other companies make just the scoop. You would have to have a good body shop cut it in and do the paint but for the price of shipping an entire hood from JDM the price would be about equal. This is my guess. If I go this way, down the road with an intercooler I would look first at just cutting in a hood scoop.

To be honest, I find the B4 scoop to be a tad too meek...
<IMG SRC="http://www.lumine.net/subaru/legacyb4/specs/media/38.jpg" border=0> I would have preferred a slightly more aggressive (and functional) scoop like the STi... <IMG SRC="http://lumine.net/subaru/legacyb4/wrxsti/media/18.jpg" border=0> Cheers. |

What about the C-West? ( Sorry, no pic!)
Since it goes ON the hood (but attaches, I assume, to the OE connections + some extra double sided tape) it may be easier to do than getting the perfect fit of the OE unit. Maybe. Cheers |
