Default Help swap won't start!

The car is an MY97 impreza with and MY05 LGT swap and running an MY04 Sti ecu. The car has been wired and the ecu flashed for this combo. The car cranks, the spark plugs spark, the fuel injectors are getting power, the fuel pump is pumping. But it's not starting. Any suggestions?

To get around the immobilizer issue, I suspect.

Check the basics, spark, compression, fuel.

Yep to get around the immobilizer. I've checked all that, the injectors are working and there is spark and the compression is fine. I starting to wonder if there is a problem in the fuel delivery system. But not the pump because the pump primes and if I unscrew the gas gap the is th woosh of air so the system is under pressure.

Default confusing

The manuals seem to be conflicting on the fuel delivery system. Unless I'm reading it wrong. See pictures below.

The first diagram shows the top connection to the Fuel Pressure Regulator being the Return line. Yet the Bottom picture talks about the fuel supply line and the diagram is labled with the top connection to the FPR being a fuel supply based on the arrows and it saying fuel out. Am I missing something?
Thanks,
Joshua

Woah.. I always knew that LGT motors were different than the other recent turbo motors... but I haven't seen a setup like that before.

I know on my 05 intake manifold/fuel rails, the middle soft line went to the top rail (feed), top soft line went to the middle rail (return). Hmmmm...

I'm also getting a constant wine noise from the electric throttle body when the ignition is in the on position(engine obviously not running). Is this normal?

Yep compression is fine, so your legacy doesn't have the wine of an electric motor comming from the throttle body when the key is in the on position?

I've heard this before from STi swaps. It's normal.

No check engine lights other than those related to the gas tank emissions. I figured it out. I feel kind of silly. I some how flipped the FPR 180 degree so in was out and vice versa. Car runs now. I have yet to drive it. I'm cleaning up the wires some and have to put the heater core back in so I can put coolant in and actually drive it.

I'm about 10-15 minutes from the mall, right down 70 in brier creek. I'll be posting completed pictures and results once I get the dash in and such.

No it wasn't the FPR because before the Sti ecu none of the relays were switching. So it was a completely seperate issue. Then after that it would have been the FPR.

Okay so the FPR was the right way origionally. It was the feed and return lines that were swapped. The Impreza the feed line is up top, legacy feed line is at the bottom. I got a chance to look under the hood of my neighbor's LGT and it all made sense. Car runs, perfect now, I still have yet to drive it other than to pull it out of the garage so I can clean up some before putting the dash back in. I'll go for a test drive tonight.
