Default AccessPort will not power up

Hey guys, My AccessPort will not power up when I plug it in the OBDII port. Car runs fine, no check engine light. The AccessPort can power up when I plug in the power adapter. Any Ideas?

Thanks guys, I confirmed the bad connector by using my cousin connector, and the sucker powered up. I will contact COBB right away.

Thanks.
