Default Protuning Questions

Hello,

I am going to schedule a protune in the next couple of weeks (at XXtuning). I have 2 questions.

1. Do I need a bigger fuel pump? (If i starve on the dyno... i lose my tuning money)

2. I've seen posts that show benefits of 1 step colder plugs. If I put them in do I have to take them out in the winter? If so, what can happen if I don't take them out for winter?

Current Mods:
AP stage 2 (cobb catted dp, stock midpipe, prodrive axelback)
K&N typhoon
Perrin TMIC

Thanks

Don't need to do either with your mods

If for some reason you can max out the injectors with your mods which is unlikely, you won't lose your money, the tuner will tune for it. You may not get the same top end but you'll still be better off than you are before the tune. A fuel pump never hurts though, you'll probably be stuck with the mod bug like everyone else and need to put one in eventually, if you have the $ to spare, pick one up. Doesn't hurt. Same with colder plugs. One step should be fine, you'll know after you've run them a while if they are too cold. And for $15, what's the harm.. You should have new plugs either way.
