I know I could have searched, but I figured it would be faster to just have someone answer. What are the best brake pads for my car? I haven't done much searching, but I am pretty sure the applications are limited. What fits? What works the best? Thanks in advance.

Although i haven't tried them yet, i've heard the EBC Greenstuff are the best you can get for the money.
autocaresubaru has 'em for $80, front pads only. I'm not sure how that compares, but their prices are usually very competitive. |

I've been reading a few threads lately that don't reflect too positively on the EBC's. I was planning to get those for my girlfriend's RS when her pads are gone, but now I'm having second thoughts. What pads are you running?

So I guess everyone with the 90 - 94 legacy is just running OEM pads? I NEED new pads and can't wait much longer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. -Brian |

I would try MetalMasters (sold under a few different brand names including Repco, Pagid and Axxis I think). They have been around a while and people seem to like them on this board. I had them on a VW and had no complaints.

Primitive sells them, not sure for which models. I bet they can get them if they are available though.
