Post To the people who dinged my car...

You have dented my car.

What have I ever done to you? Nothing.

What will I do to you when I find you? I will make you eat socks.

ANOTHER ding... just found it on my daily "I'm bored at work, let's go walk around my car and make sure it doesn't have any new dings" break. It's up HIGH on the front driver's fender! I don't know what kind of monster truck dinged me, but I will get my revenge...

Joke's on them. I thought they went through the paint, turns out I was dinged by a white car and they left their paint behind. So it just rubbed out and now it's a job for PDR!

hate that, I've got a few parking lot scars on my car.

possibly one of the things that pisses me off the most in the world, lack of respect.

Yup, I hear ya guys! While washing my car, I found a spot where I was nudged. Bastards! I know the car that did it, too...but I couldn't find the scratch that day! Damn Mustang drivers!

My super-sensitive alarm has helped me so far *knocks on wood* I'm sure there are some minor scratches I haven't seen yet, but oh well if it I gets to bad I'll just re-paint the car..

I know it's just a matter of time before I get a ding...it goes with the territory here in New England.

In the meantime, I try to park at the end of a row so that I can leave adequate space between me and the next space...or just park in a spot that isn't so close to the entrance. The excercise does me good anyway.

I used to park with the passenger side facing the danger area, since it already had a ding... now the driver's side is dinged.

What to do?

What do those paintless dent removal guys do, anyway? Do they just tap out dents with a soft mallet from the inside, or what? I have this sick EVIL stupid urge to try it myself (they are SO small...)

Less talk, more ass kicking!
man that pisses me off. If I scratch my car because I went rally-xing or something, thats fine, ****I***** scratched my car. But when some idiot can't park his 85 foot long SUV and hits my car..thats when the gloves come off and I kick some ass. (I say that, but I'm just a little man...I can't do much )
ehhe
Neways, We should come together and kick some ass, there is safety in numbers

I'm with Bradus. I try to either park far, where no other cars are parked (you would be suprised on how many idoits would park right next to you when there are 100 other spots open), park in two spots ( I rarely do that), or, I try to park just a nudge over a handicap parking space (does any one ever park in those spots?). So far so good but I know I am doomed.

During the x-mas shopping season, my car will not be going to a mall.

Oh, I'm very picky about my parking spaces...

Right now I'm parked between a Civic that's owned by a friend who likes cars and with whom I have discussed the evils of dings... and a null space not big enough for a car to fit, bordered by a fence.

They'll get you anyway. The nicer the car, the faster it gets hit. My friend's 3000GT is like a magnet for these things... it's been hit HARD twice in parking lots (had to get major bodywork), dinged, keyed twice whilst sitting in the driveway at the end of a cul de sac...

Can anyone rig up a security system that sends nice arcs of blue electricity across the car's exterior once in a while?

My wife and I are spending the weekend in Boston this weekend.

Suffice to say, I shall not be taking my WRX. Minivan mayhem, here I come.
