Legacy Looking for red stitch STi Shift Knob

I have a '98 Legacy GT and am looking to swap out my old worn down stock leather shift knob for a nicer STi red stitched knob. If you happen to have one and are looking to sell or know someone who might message me or call me.

red stitched STi?

i thought the only red stitched one was an RS.

i have one. i love it. i'm gonna put my RS wheel on today i think.

red stitching for everone!

edit: i did put the wheel in. looks good, but doesn't really stand out.

the RS shift knob really stands out, i love it.

Have any ideas on how I might get my hands on one? Do you have any picks of how nice it looks?

What RS Wheel do you have? I was thinking about getting the WRX Momo, steering wheel with the red stitches and air bag but was afraid that it wouldn't mount properly from a WRX to a Legacy steering column. ie: the harness in the back responsible for cruise control etc as well as the airbag firing mechanism.

I have a 2005 STi shift-knob with the red-stitched black leather wrap.
It has a 6-spd shift map on it though...
If you want it email me: nimrodm at comcast dot net

The wheel with red stitching is JDM I think. The connector may be different for the airbag. Searching this forum will provide the answers you seek.

i'm usually a search commentator, but this is something i do know about so i'll answer your questions right here. SO!

here's teh deal yall

any 99-01 RS has what i have. the red-stitched knob and wheel. no, it is not the WRX wheel, it's just like our GT wheel, but with red stitching.

the WRX MOMO wheel fits and looks great, but i paid $25 for just the RS ring, and used my same airbag and booya. i would love to get a WRX wheel, but at $250-300 and hard to find... i'm not gonna put in that effort and i do not have that much money.

pics tomorrow

about the MOMO install: http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/showthread.php?t=127

i got away with a 17mm box end wrench for the steering wheel nut, didn't need a breaker, but if you have one, by all means use it and use the torque wrench. my wrench is in NC so... i had to wing it.
