I'm thinking about getting a 2.5i limited for the wife. What are your thoughts? Also, does the rear seat lay down, or does it just have a pass through?
Thanks, Steve

wagons have a lay down rear seat. Sedans only have the pass through. Course you could always change them out if you found someone willing to sell you some rear seats

I recently bought a 2006 Legacy 2.5i wagon 5MT to be our family car (we just had a baby girl
). I love it. It's no powerhouse, but it drives nice, interior fit & finish is excellent, uses 87 octane, gets decent mileage, and insurance is fairly cheap. I was going to get a Legacy GT, but decided to just keep the 05 WRX as a fun car instead. |

SubyGal: Maybe because people see the general forum as a catch-all. Remove it and I'm sure people will take more time to find the right forum to post in. Of course, that would kinda suck not having general.

I definitely don't have a Legacy....but did. I would get a wagon for sure if I bought another one.

The 06 motor is improved over early 2.5l. Should be OK powerwise. Nicer car than the Impreza in terms of lux and refinement.
I am thinking about buying one, but the wife doesn't want a 3rd subaru wagon. Yeesh, what could be wrong with having 3 subaru wagons? Women.... |

Although seriously, the pass thru on the new Sedans, really do suck. I love my fold down seats. |

I have a 2005 Legacy GT and love it. It serves as the family car for the wife and I when we go together and have done a few mods to make it fun for autocrossing also

Is this complicated, and where is a good place to look for seats...this is probably one of my biggest gripes about my Legacy 35th...the trunk is so small from the AWD/rear diff already, and then the seats down fold down to help... |
