Default Need some map for this setup

My friend has a car that is runnign so rich that it's not driveable. I need a UTEC map for this set up or ANYTHIGN SIMILAR just so it's driveable. It is currently on stg 2 maps so just anythign similar will be great. Keep in mind it will be driven to the tuning shop as soon as we get somethign to just drive it on. We won't be using boost so whatever you give is good.

small 16g pnp ,Injen FMIC, Pink injectors, Fuel Pump, Turbo Inlet hose, APS ram intake, Catless uppipe and Helix down pipe w/ HKS ti muffler,

You're making this into a much bigger deal than it needs to be - just use the regular Stage 4 map. Load up the map, edit the parameters to account for your injector size, and drive away. The car should be in closed loop the entire time, so the stock ECU will be adjusting to make sure you're getting a good amount of fuel. Plus you shouldn't be going all out WOT anyway. And its not like there's that much difference between a 16g & a VF30, and when you're off boost, they're the same.

You willl have NO problem with the stage 4 map and driving it. Just be light on the throttle and don't get into much boost ~5psi - even if you do it will probably just dump rich and stumble. It's got low timing so no worries. That 16G is a stg4 set up FWIW. Afterall, this is to get the car through the time from now until the actual tune.

Once in the UTEC maps area you need to select the "Parameters" section. The select "Open Loop Fueling". Then input the "Scaled injector size". I would say to 550 to 560. Back out of that screen and then make sure you save it.

I cant find the injector Size section in the parameters, I uploaded the map without the parameters but it sounds like it is still misfiring. I cant directly upload the map because the utec is on version 3.1 and the map is for 5.0 should i update the utec

Which injector size did you change to 550? It should have only been the 2nd set - the other should still stay 440.

Another thing to do is go into the 0 colum & start taking out fuel. Either that or have someone who's used to UTEC look at it.

i think the stage 4 map parameters has the injector size already inserted in it(for pinks that is). njskatchmo your in bergen county? cause i am also so i could always give you a hand getting it drivable if you need. I've tuned my own car with the utec quite a few times. PM me if your still having trouble....

My name is tal. It's cool I didn't remeber your name. Hope that 6 speed swap went well btw. We'd have to go to chuck's in mahwah, cause it's his car, just i'm good with computers so i'm fiddling with it. I think at this point it may just be a combination of boost leaks and fouled injectors and plugs. Because I'm almost positive I put the map correctly.

Did you reset the ecu yet? Do that if you didn't. Also, you might want ot use a little higher scale number like 560.

i ended up going to chucks tonight and setting up the utec a lil better for him, it really just needed a few percent of fuel pulled and the stock injector was set to 550, so i changed it to 420. I also turned down the boost so its basically on wastegate pressure, whatever that may be ( i think its 6psi). So it should be fine to drive to get tuned, just no boost to be safe
