Default The Legacy needs a fart can!

I have 2.25" exhaust piping and two highflow cats on their way, I will be rebuilding the exhaust from the header back. I am curious as to what muffler i should get? I do want a meaner exhaust note, but no cans of bees. I am looking into the borla line possibly, anyone have any ideas?

p.s: i don't want a big tip, something simple looking.

So no Apex N1 then. My buddy wants to put one on his EJ20T powered legacy.

man, that seriously wierded me out for a second there!

if you're just looking for a universal muffler to attach to all the piping, then Magnaflow is going to get a lot of votes. i'd also recommend looking into OBX mufflers though, you can get them pretty cheap on eBay, and some actually do look fairly stock. some people may tell you to stay away from OBX, but i had an OBX muffler on my old civic, and i loved it so much that i got another one for my leg!

That one does look pretty sharp, Bud, but I'm not sure if the tip will be long enough. And it looks like it would be tough to get in there and cut the tip off to extend it without scratching the hell out of your nice, new, polished muffler.

I just went and measured my Stromung. It's tip is 7" long. I could probably get away with 6", but 4" would clearly be back under the bumper.

BTW, I really like my Stromung. It's got a nice growl to it without being too obnoxious.
