Default is there something about driving a VW that makes you drive like a prick?

I gotta agree witih "Click and Clack" (any car talk listeners here?) VW drivers, especially in silver cars, are some of the worst drivers on the road, they drive like they're playing frogger. discuss.

Click and Clack are the balls. I listen to them every saturday on my drive home from work.

I think their theory relates to jetta drivers specifically.

But yeah, vw drivers tend to be abscent minded teen girls yapping away on their cell phone while putting on eyeliner in the oversized visor mirror. Or codgery old folks who think they have rights to all the lanes of traffic just because theyre old. Or young urban professional hipsters that think their trendy vee-dub makes the rush theyre in more important than anyone elses.

And lets not forget the punks 'representin germahn ehnjaneering' who think thier econoboxes or overpriced hatchbacks are god's gift to sport compacts.

I've noticed this a lot. Unfortunately, I joined the dark side a couple weeks ago. It's silver, too.

I had an issue this AM with someone thinking their ford Taurus... I'm sorry I mean Mazda 6 was the fastest for on the highway, and when he came up on regular traffic he figured getting 12" off someone bumper would make them go faster, even when they had cars in front of them... HE then proceeded to change lanes a bunch of times figuring someone would let him through even though there was traffic in every lane...

It's not the car. It's stupid people and how they drive and believe they are more important that everyone else.

I was just thinking about Jetta girls on my drive in to work today.

Had to sit at a red light staring at some Jetta driver across the intersection who was sitting SO FAR FORWARD I swear she had to reach behind her to use the turn signal.

Her SEAT was set back at a normal driving position, and the headrest was all the way up (probably so she could see under it) but she had her chin on the wheel.

Sometimes I want to hurt people.

I love when you drive by a woman driver and she has the wheel 6" from her chest... Almost makes you wish they'd get in an accident so the airbags would kill them.

*sigh*

This forum really is an inane place to be sometimes. I see more riced out WRXs with punks who think they are the all time God's gift to the car world than anything else. I see more surburbans and expeditions with inattentive soccer moms than jettas. Every brand has stupid drivers.

Car talk was reading some of the homemade Tahoe ads this weekend though.

Oh please. You know the R32 has the most douchebag drivers.

But in all honesty, out here it seems that most Grand Am and Grand Prix drivers think they are driving Ferraris or something. That probably has something to do with the fact that out here you can look in any direction on the road and see at least two of each I swear. Some Pontiac salesman made a killing out here.

WORST on the road.
sense of entitlement about how their JUhMAN ENGINEEING YAH! makes it okay to ignore signalling laws and pull out dangerously close to oncoming traffic
