Angry need help....

I have a 98 legacy 2.5 GT. What my question is is that a first gen or second? I've got over 150K and I've haven't had a problem with the head gasket but I have had a problem with the rear 02 sensor. Code says PO136 which is Downstream 02 sensor circuit malfunction, and once I had PO141 (Downstream O2 sensor heater circuit malfunction) if anyone knows what going on with it it would be a great help. Sorry don't know it I should have posted this last statement in another thread or forum not.

No real idea on the problem. Sorry, but to answer your first question that would be a 2nd gen Legacy - although I consider it the 1st generation GT.

I think hes asking whether or not the engine is phase I or phase II....to which the answer *I believe* is phase I.

Dunno about the CEL though...

Call your dealer and give them the last 8 characters of your VIN and tell them you want a new 02 sensor.

Replaced it already with one that bosch makes. It's OEM quality but that just got rid of the PO141 code now it's saying the PO136 code.

It's just got me worried cause of all the talk of how many fail and as of right now I don't have the money to repace one unless I do it myself. I've got the Haynes manual to do it. How hard do you think it will be. Keep in mind I have access to all the tools I would need to do it as well.
