Default WTT: My Sti for your 05+ Legacy or Forester

As the title says is Anyone interested in trading their 05+ Legacy for an 04 STi?

Here is the scoop, I bought an Sti from selrahc off nasioc In January. I love the car but my new job has me driving about 800 miles a week, and an Sti just isnít practical enough. Iím looking for an 05+ legacy sedan or wagon, turbo or non-turbo.

My Sti is a 2004, itís silver with 20,xxx miles on it. It is in very good shape. No dents or scratches. The previous owner treated the car extremely well, and I have done the same. Its kind of a unique car. It has the standard wrx wing, and standard black wrx interior, as well as very nice aftermarket dual front heated seats. A very nice stereo with a jvc serious sat radio integrated head unit, and quartz mb components all around. The car currently also has an aps 90/10 bov, a helix downpipe w/ the high flow cat, and the snorkus removed. It also has an ap with 3 custom tuned maps from Jorge, a 93 oct map that gave us 266 whp and 320 wtq on P&Ls dyno. Map 2 is 100 oct. it put down 300 whp and 370 wtq, and the third map is what I typically drive around on, itís a low boost map, it yields around 240 wtq and whp, but is easy on the car and gets me around 22-24 mpg in mixed driving. I also have the wrx-xtra center 3 gauge pod with autometer carbon fiber gauges installed, boost, egt, and oil temp.

The car currently has pzero nero asm tires on it, there about 50% left, but I also have the oem re070 s with lots of tread left, over 80 % remaining. Iím willing to consider returning the car to stock or trading it with the mods on it, your preference.

Iím looking to get rid of the Sti primarily because I have a very serious chronic back injury, and the suspension is just way harsh. To correct this I even swapped in a standard wrx suspension and just the stiffness of the other components made the car to harsh, especially at 800 miles or more week.

Iím looking for an 05 or 06 legacy with a manual trans. My ideal trade would be a black turbo wagon, but Iíll seriously consider any 05+ legacy manual, thatís wagon or sedan and turbo or non. Iím also looking for a trade for any Forester Turbo, need to be manual as well.

Pics are available, just didnít have the time to post em now, feel fr to email me at ralyrcr@hotmail.com you can also send me a pm if you like.

Thanks for looking

Jon

I'd consider it if you weren't so far away.

were only like a 14hr drive from eachother, we meet in the middle, 7hrs each way, 14 h total drive time.

not that bad.

seriously though i understand its a long way, especially for something like this, i'm sure something closer will come up for both of us

Trading is easy! Loans must be switched around and stuff but thats not that hard. I did this with my sister last year when I got a STI and she got my L wagon. Good luck on the trade.
