need help with 06 headlights

I'm going to do the 06 front end convertion on my 05'STi. I checked on the price for 06 STi headlights and they are really expensive. I'm thinking about just getting the WRX one which almost half price cheaper than the STi one... I'm just curious if there's any difference with the projector or the bulb type probably? and thinking about putting the headlight adjuster from my STi one... is that possible? thank you for any info.

Well this may or may not be obvious to you, but the WRX has a halogen bulb while the STI has a D2S HID capsule. They are not interchangeable and thusly, you will likely need a lot of extra wiring parts to be able to use the halogens in your STi.

Get wrx headlight and swap the Halogen projectors with HID.

oh yeah, So it's still possible to put my HID kit from my 05STi to the 06 WRX headlight right? I'm sorry if I'm getting confused, because I don't really understand anything about lamps and bulbs...

Your STi doesn't have a "kit", it has OEM HID headlight assemblies. You can't part them out.
If you're going to the trouble and expense to do the front end conversion, why not do it right and use the 06 STi lights? You should be able to recover a good part of the cost by selling the original lights from your 05, the STi HIDs are always in demand from non-HID 04 and 05 owners looking to upgrade.
