Post Will the twin turbo EJ20 fit 91-94 Legacy turbo?

I want to know what parts I need to do the swap? For example, I got the EJ20 twin turbo engine and tranny only(no wiring harness and ECU). Will it direct fit to 91-94's? Need different axles like Impreza RS?

For $900-1100 without ECU and wiring harness, is it a good deal?

Thanks!

i vaguely recall mention that the twin turbo plumbing was designed for a RHD car, ie. there might be clearance problems around the steering shaft of a LHD car?

Without a LOT of modification, it won't.

The single is simpler and can make more HP anyway.

It sounds good but it it may cost you a lot of time. Where did you get a hold of that Engine?

If you are looking for more hp, going with an STi single turbo engine with fewer kms/miles on it will likely be easier!

Just make sure that the connections and harness etc match so you don't have the pain and expense of major work.

Hi

The Twin turbo will not fit a LHD car as the primary turbo is in the way of the steering column

I would think that the engine is of no real use without the ECU and harness as the plumbing and electronics are horrendously complicated - see my web page on the turbo plumbing - www.nebbs.com and click on twin turbo on the front page
