Too bad it came out of an 05 STI, Oh and BTW, you are wrong. There is NO difference between the 04 and 05 STI UTEC. If you dont know what you are talking about, keep your misinformed mouth shut.

Nope.
Thats just the imobilizer.

Call TXS and ask if you dont believe me *shrug*

Sorry for the rant, and if it wasnt an intentional threadcrap I apologize and will nut kick myself to make up for it. Hell Ill do it twice.

But it was posted twice in 2 min, and double posts 99.9999999% of the time get the same timestamp. So that rings of thread crapping to me. Of all the crap I have done and said on nasioc, even I have never threadcrapped a for sale thread. Again though, if thats not what this was, I apologize humbly, and will give myself a nutshot. (it will only hurt half as bad though )

There are 2 different models though. They both "should" work on 04 and 05.

maybe. I AM trying to scrape funds for a new camera...
Maybe you are onto something here! I could like have another person in it, they could ask me about which BOV they should get, I could call them a n00b, and they could kick me in the nut

I called TXS to make 100% sure before I put it up for sale listing it as 04-05. I asked if there was a difference and if either works on either. I know there are revision changes, but they both work on either.

The way I look at it is threadcrapping a for sale thread is about the lamest thing you can do, and it REALLY irritates me. Yell at people, call them names, whatever, but dont threadcrap a for sale thread.
But like I said, maybe he wasnt.

Hey like I said, I severly apologize to him if that wasnt his intention.
But it certainly seems like a TC to me. Even if it wasnt, you shouldnt post info that will possibly harm someones sale when you dont know for a fact if its true or not. A 2 sec phone call, or even just clicking onto turboxs's site would have told him that the 04-05 use the same UTEC.
