Question Turbo 2.2l, need advice

Maybe all the regular scoobie specialists can help me out on this one. This guy I know at work has a 98RS with a whole bunch of goodies under the hood. He just recently got married and for some reason, he needs to sell the stuff so that the car is back to what it was before, since his wife refuses to drive it in its current enhanced condition. Some of the stuff he has includes a T3/T4E Garrett(?) turbo, external wastegate(HKS), Blitz B.O.V., and top-mount intercooler. He'll give me a screaming deal on the whole package. My question is: Is it worth buying the stuff and try putting it in my MY00 2.2l TS ??? I hadn't really considered modifying my car until this opportunity came along. I don't know what the EJ22 will stand up to. If I get the appropriate fuel system (injectors, pump, etc) and the appropriate electronics to tune everything (or have someone tune it for me), is it worth it??? Should I just buy the stuff and wait 'til I get a different car?
I'm not too worried about the exhaust since my neighbour builds exhaust systems for a living ( I could save money by not having to buy a pre-fabricated system). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated since I don't know much about Subaru cars yet.

I would do it if I had the extra money. Even if you decide against turboing your current ride, you could sell the stuff easily for what you bought it for...

Yeah, good point. You still think the EJ 22 can handle forced induction if it's kept to a moderate level???

mikec - The main restriction to running power on the Ej22's are the head designs. They don't flow very well vs. the EJ25 heads. Also, with just the 2.2L, you'll notice alot of lag with the EJ22. If you had an RS I'd say take it, but I highly recommend getting a turbo that'll spool faster, as in street driving you need torque more than HP.
