Talking I got boost

I know you've all seen one, but I'll show you anyway.

It makes me go every time that turbo spools

Technical stuff:

IHI VF-10 @ 5 pounds oil/water cooled
pre 97 WRX intercooler
Custom up and down pipes (made by blaster88)
Single hi flow cat
Hiflow pump
Vortech 4:1 riser
Ziener didoe
EGT and boost gauge

Car runs great. Much different beast with the turbo. Just need to get a new clutch now.

Jim

interesting setup ! congrats . when doing the clutch swap , put redline shockproof oil in the tranny , that produc really works to proect your gears. I'm guessing your turbo has an internal wastegate ? don't go boost happy and make sure the car is tuned properly and go kick some rustang ass.
happy boosting

I hate to sound like an ass, but I'm 100% against Redline trans. fluid. My car never felt the same after it was refilled with RL 75W90NS. Not that it has anything to do with the current state of my trans, but I feel it had a significant impact on my shifting technique as the synchros worked like crap after I had it put in.

8Complex : I hate to deviate from topics but wow , I've never heard anything bad about redline. did you use the shockproof oil or is there just a normal tranny wieght that you've used. that's really strange. the shockproof has been known to cure grinding gears in the Z32's and hondas including my own turbo integra when it used to grind going into third but now its all gone. I have it in my RS-T at 12 psi and its strong so far (knock on wood).
