Default Hypothetical...swapping cams when doing motor swap

Someday (within the next 2 years) I wanted to go from a 2.2 to a 2.5. In the meantime I'm getting some TWE cams (so they wont mess with the ECU) for the 2.2 while my head gaskets are being replaced. I'm also going to have the heads P&Pd since they'll be out to get checked for warping and Carquest (stop laughing) is going to do them for $100. Friend says with my bolt-ons and cams/P&P I'll be close to a stock 2.5.

Regardless, I still want to drop a 2.5 in someday and was double-checking...it'll be cool to move the TWE cams from the 2.2 to the 2.5 right? I'll be going SOHC to SOHC.

And upon lots of reading...I'll be getting the valve springs too. Might even get new valves for the hell of it.
