yeah gold rims look good on RIO RED legacy. Not that I want to steal the thread or anything but does anyone seen or have a red mica legacy with gold rims? Just wondering I haven't seen one, but I don't think it would look as good as his leggy though.

oh and very nice rims

Out of curiosity, what brand paint did you use? When i painted my stockers gold i used a walmart brand gold color. I really liked the way they turned out, but ill be repainting them this summer so i might try a brighter gold like what you used. Looks good man!

I have a '96 Ruby Red Mica Legacy "L" that I am using as a daily driver/beater Legacy. Pretty much a twin of what you currently have, accept I have not mounted a rear deck spoiler or a hood scoup on mine.

Currently I am running high-performance 14 Inch all-seasons on slightly rusty black painted steel rims. I am planning on mounting either some '02-'03 WRX rims that I will likely be painting gold and/or using the GT LIMITED (polished/clear coated alloy outer and gold painted background) rims that came with my Silver GT, but just dont look right on a silver car.

I think either setup will look awsome on a Ruby Red Mica Legacy.

In the photos of the car, the centre caps appear to be missing ?

Haha thats hilarious. I searched all over nasioc for recipies just before i was going to paint. I saw the thread your talking about and went straight to big lots. No dice, they only had like two colors. I even talked to the guy that painted them and he lived in NY and offered to mail me some cans from his store, lol. Anyway turned out i couldnt find the stuff, and just went to walmart. Im happy either way i love it.

Get some bigger pics mang!

Thats funny you think you'll have that ready for the WBM? I plan on going again I'd like to see what gold rims would look like. I might paint my WRX rims if it looks alright depending on what car you take it be funny to get the two next to each other.
