I got my RS-R GT II for under $700 cdn before taxes, but it's crazy loud. Let me know what exhaust you decide to go with and i can see what kind of price I can get for you..

If you bigger than 2.25" you lose some of your low end tourqe which is vital for the NA cars. I just ordered and got an OBX catback for about $360 CDN. Haven't got a chance to put it on yet. Currently have a Brullen cat back but it resonates just a little too much for my older ears.

i'm eyeing the obx catback pretty hard. problem is, i have an L, not an rs. are the exhaust systems interchangeable from the cat section back so i can buy a used randtom tech and the obx meant for the rs?

there's also rumor on the rs25 board that its made in the same factory as the rallitek exhaust, anyone know anything about that?

to the original poster, the borla is said to be a copy of the cobb and cobb is in many people's opinions, overpriced. it's an exhaust system so there's not too much to vary. decide what style muffler and tip you like and how much volume increase you can tolerate and just go from there. just figuring out that you may or may not want an n1 style muffler will eliminate a lot of brands to otherwise sort through. for what it's worth, i'll also second the 2.25" pipe diameter many owners report as being the ideal diameter for the n/a 2.5L.

i payed $110 for a dynomax muffler, and i retained the stock tip. Looks the same but gives it a nice not too loud, not too quiet sound. I guess i just faced the facts and said "hey, my car is sloooow as hell, like slower than a mini-van slow as hell." so i didnt bother to spend $700 for 3 horsepower...

I own a MY 2.5RS by the way
