Question turbo'ing a 2.2l

I was wondering if it is possible to turbo my 95 2.2 coupe, and if yes what would I need.

I can get you an older WRX engine for $1000 or so. then get you a Haltech ECU, exhaust and you can use your existing tranny. All of this would cost less than most of the aftemarket turbo systems. Around $3500 or less.
This would give a low compresion, more durable engine

Couyld I modify a 1.8 L turbo to work? or change heads and use a 2.5 turbo?

You should really look through the threads for at least a few days and you'll see others have asked the same question.

Yes you can turbo it, will it work? You can make it work. What will you need? depends on the boost you want. Click on the little www icon under this thread for some more info.

Hmm, check the other turboing a 2.2l post. Forced Air Technologies (see links) has turboed one and it's very impressive. My friend owns it. Good luck.
