Default Question on offset for 18x8.5 Advan RG II's

I need to know if the +48 offset on 18x8.5 advan RG II's for my 03 wrx will be ok. I want them to sit flush with the fenders and quarter panels, but don't want them to rub on the inside when I turn. If anyone has any knowledge on this, let me know.

Yea but I want it to be dumped, like sittin right above the tire. I dunno if that offset will stick in or stick out, I am a newbie with wheels spacing.

ur better off with 18x8 +45 if u want to be dumped. if u want to be sittin right above the tire. get the 8.5's with most likely a +48 offset

They only make a +48 I found out in the 18x8.5 Advan RG II's, but in volks le28n's which are my second choice you can get them in a +44. I am not sure because I know nothing about offsets, if the number is higher does the wheel stick in or out more?
