Default When are people leaving Phoenix?

I should be getting in to phoenix around midnight to 1am. Danny's thankfully offered me crash space. Which means that I'm going to be driving up Friday morning. I would like to be to prescott in time for the SWRT meet which starts at 2 (last time I checked).

So when are you guys driving up en masse?

IIRC, we will be meeting up @ AaronB's house or near there, as it is right off of I17 on the north side of town. I'm sure he'll see this post and make an executive decision....

I'd offer the suggestion of the Target parking lot in the Deer Valley Plaza (located @ the 101 & I-17) at 1000.

What do you all think?

Arrow the caravan to Prescott

Target parking lot in the Deer Valley Plaza (located @ the 101 & I-17) at 10:00AM sounds good to me.

Lets just plan on doing that, I do not think Aaron would mind us making this decision.

See everyone who is caravaning at 10:00 am on Friday.

I vote meet at Target between 09:30 and 10:00 and that we leave at 10:00 so if you aren't there, you can cruise up on your own.

Everyone who has them bring those motorola (or similar) family radios so we can chat while driving.

I will follow everyone, so nobody has to drive in my smoke screen

See everyone there.

Get up a couple hours earlier.

Noon would be cutting it close to be at the host hotel in time for meeting the rally team. I want to be up there with plenty of time to spare so I can check out the cars that have already arrived and such.

Well, last time I drove to Prescott, it took me an hour via I17. Call it 70 minutes in case you don't want to risk getting caught for speeding.

That should give me 50 minutes to look at the cars. Last year I spent 15 minutes looking at the cars, before I was satisfied. That gives me 35 minutes to think about getting my spectator bracelet and getting the maps and stuff to figure out how to get there.

That also gives me an hour from 3pm to 4pm to look at the cars again.

Not sure what the heck I would do in Prescott if I arrived at 11am anyways.

But 10am is not a possibility for me. I have a teacher conference with my daughter's 3rd grade teacher at 9am, and then I have to hit the grocery store so that my cooler is adequately stocked for tomorrow and Saturday's mayhem.

Have fun!

-Danny

I'll be there at 1000 see you then. I guess I will just drive my own car but thanks for the seat if I needed it!

If your here early the Yavapai/Prescott tribe will be happy to relieve you of any spare change/folding money at Bucky's Casino at the Prescott Resort.

Cool

I may try to make it by 10:00, but don't wait for me. My plans were closer to Danny's. If I'm taking a day off of work, I'm sleeping in. I'll hook up with everyone at or before the SRT USA meet. I PM'd my cell-phone number to Aaron. Call me if you need to get in touch before then.
