Default Apex Power FC / HKS F-Con Pro any info???

just wondering if anyone had information as to how well these two worked under tuning situations... i have a med. modified car and am in the market for something new but that will work. I know that these are two japanese based companies that provide Eng. mangement for WRX, but how well and what are the pro's and cons as opposed to UTEC/EcuTek/Cobb???

just want to make the right decision, this will probally be for a daily driven car so i dont want to throw down like 3500 for a full set up like MoTec or Autronic (even though they are super bad a$$)...

any ideas/suggestions what to expect from one of these japanese based Eng mang. parts?

Go with a flash based system (EcuTek or Cobb). They have the best drivability without major headaches and they make the same power if tuned right. Also, since it's a daily driver, you want the factory drivability in there.

I have a PowerFC w/Commander in the Civic, but that's only because the factory ECU is not flashable like the Denso units in the Subarus are. When I got my WRX I went with a flash based system.

In my opinion, if the flashing capability is there for the factory ECU, why throw it away? Use the technology that you already have... it's more powerful anyway, at least in terms of Stock ECU vs PowerFC.
