Post EJ20 Legacy Engine

Wondering if this swap is possible. Heard the twin turbo plumbing interferes with steering??? Also is a 91-94 turbo swap possible on a 95 Legs? If so how easy and what parts would you need. Any info would be great.

Thanks
Andy

I am not aware of anyone who has swapped in the twin-turbo setup, clearance problems. The US spec 2.2 turbo motor will swap in but you will need to swap in the '92-'94 front crossmember or notch/weld your crossmember for exhaust manifold clearance.

There is a guy out there on the Subaru Webring that swapped a EJ20 into his 1st Gen Legacy. It was a single turbo though. If you flip through his page you will find a load of information. This dude was very into this swap. Don't know if it was worth the trouble. I guess you'd have to ask him.

I think there is one guy in Vancouver, Cannada. He's now installing WRX STI engine on to 91 Legacy turbo. His car in Minnam right now or maybe it already done. He always on STI board.
