Default Won't go into gear after tranny swap

Swapped a 2006 wrx drivetrain into my 2005 wrx (which had an 04 STI drivetrain) and the car won't go into gear once the car is turned on. The slaves, forks, and everything else were transferred over with the transmissions.

- Slave has been bled.
- The fork and TOB were never uninstalled from the transmission so they are on there correctly.
- The pressure plate was removed and installed with a new clutch disk.

I know I probably should have at least replaced the TOB (and pressure plate) but it was working fine before and this car is probably going to auction so...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just realized that I left the flywheels in place on the cars. Is it possible that the Flywheel that was on the 05 is not compatible somehow even though it bolted up? I did notice that the alignment pins for the pressure plate did not align EXACTLY, but it ended up sliding in once I put the bolts in.

I would have kept the flywheel together with the pressure plate. It is possible the geometry of the flywheels are different, but I don't know this for sure. Someone should know this with certainty.

Clutch may be sticking or not releasing, or it could be the trans.

Car off, put it in 1st.

Clutch in.

Will it start? Does the car roll with the starter on?

Will the car roll in 1st if the clutch is in (engine off)?
