Default FS: Progress lowering springs(never used!)

I have a brand new set of Progress springs, still in box, that I cant use now. I'm buying a jeski for me and my daughter. And I was advised from some fellow members on here that it wasnt a smart idea to lower it if I'm going to be pulling a trailer in and out of boat ramps. So I'm playing it safe than sorry. I live here in Austin so locally I sell it for 165.00. If they need to be shipped then 165 + shipping. Let me know if any of you guys are interested. Thanks!!

OOOPPS!! I forgot to say they fit 04-05 WRX(inc. STI)

my bad....sorry man. I've been busy trying to buy a jetski. The guy I talked to said he doesnt see why it wouldnt fit. Suspension between the RS and wrx are almost identical. Its up to you if you want to try it. Let me know....they are still sitting in my livingroom.

Sorry man, I called and they said it wouldnt fit because of the extra weight of the wagon. If you had an 06 sedan then they would. Thanks for the inquiry.

These springs fit '05 RS Sedan fine.
There's no different in spring/strut shape b/ WRX and RS sedan.

Whether these will fit 06 wagon? Yes they will fit BUT
Being a Wagon (heavier butt), using Sedan springs, you will SAG at the rear end. Not that bad..

There are two known springs that are specific for wagon:
USDM STi Pinks and Eibach ProKit (call up Eibach for the new part #)

Also many Wagon owners usually go w/ Prodrive Sedan and found that drop evenly all out w/o problem.

Rear wagon springs are a little "longer" than Sedan.

Good luck..

Many thanks Salaki!

ANy idea if the USDN Pinks are Wagon specific or not? It's hard to get real data on wagon specifics for suspension. Be nice to know spring rates, drop amounts etc for all of these.

The fronts do have same springs for both Sedan and Wagon.

But rears are different b/ Wagon and Sedan (that's why they have different part # - aka Wagon Specific) I'm using this on the Saabaru Wagon.

USDM Pinks:
spring rates: 223 front / 195 rear
progressive springs
Set of 4 lowering/performance springs for the Impreza. Lowers body approximately 15mm-22mm, with an increase of 50%-100% in spring stiffness. Made specifically for the Impreza - Model year 2004-2006 - front spring rates 223 rear spring rates 195

I'm off the topic now, don't want to clutter this thread w/ unrelated info.

Good luck on the sale

Default Geez......

I never knew it would be so hard to sell a set of new springs at a ridiculously low price and no one wants them.

Still for sale......

oh yea, and these springs will fit an 06 sedan too. I found that out when I called Progress Suspensions.
